Amazon Prime Day is slowly turning itself into an event much larger than a single day. Last year, Amazon extended the “day” of events into a 30-hour marathon of hot deals and record-breaking sales numbers—albeit with a little bit of controversy attached to it.

This year, Amazon Prime Day 2018 will extend itself another six hours, making the day-and-a-half event all the more accessible for Amazon’s 100 million Prime members. Kicking off at 3 p.m. eastern time on July 16, Prime Day 2018 will run through midnight Pacific time on July 17. And beyond the length of the event itself, Amazon has promised to feature 50 percent more Spotlight Deals throughout the day and more than 1 million deals globally.
