Paradigm Trade UP Program Embodies Creativity Between Dealers, Manufactureres
Back for a second time, The Paradigm Trade UP offer has a few different tweaks for their customers.
"We know that Paradigm speakers have a high retained value compared to many other brands, so our first trade up promo focused just on Paradigm speakers," said Keith Dowd, Director of North American Sales. "With the outstanding success of that first trade-up promotion in 2016, we wanted to expand eligibility and help owners of other brands to trade up to Paradigm while continuing to drive customers into dealer showrooms."
Paradigms first run of the program gave customers the opportunity to trade-in only Paradigm products for a 20%-off sale. The program this year goes a step further for customers that "need a little nudge to spoil themselves with something new." Customers can bring in any brand, working or not, and upgrade to Paradigm Monitor or Prestige series products for the same 20%-off. The promotion notes that subwoofers and center channels are also included in the program.
Paradigm engineers speakers using the same five criteria - flat uniform midrange, wide dispersion, low distortion, high power handling, and a full solid bass response. Those five items lead to one goal of exceeding customer expectations "it's the budget and execution of the product series that vary."
"Both Monitor and Prestige series speakers punch above their weight, outperforming well respected - and often more expensive -competitors," Dowd says. "Prestige adds a higher level of performance and additional characteristics of luxury that makes the speakers appropriate among nicer furnishings in finer homes."
Prestige's effort comes as an endeavor between dealers taking a manufacturers promotion, adding their creative touch, and reaching out to their customer base.
"When they combine that with the fun and emotional engagement of improving the listening experience, well, we built an entire industry around that idea," said Dowd. "People get excited when new speakers make music they love fresh, new, and exciting all over again."
