Tivoli Audio is unveiling a 98-foot-wide billboard Dec. 1 in New York City’s Times Square that commemorates the tenth anniversary of the company’s founding and features the winning design of its Global Design Challenge.

Tivoli Audio will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year with the introduction in Summer of its smallest-footprint table radio to date: the Model 10. The company is also sponsoring a billboard design contest that it is promoting in all its global markets that will culminate in the winner’s design being featured on a billboard in New York City’s Times Square through the month of December and up to and including New Year’s Eve.

In a design strategy move true to its Italian-inspired name, Tivoli Audio has partnered with renowned Italian furniture designer Giulio Cappellini, bringing Cappellini’s Fall 2009 line colors to Tivoli’s NetWorks Internet radio global audio system – and to the product with which Tivoli’s own brand was launched in 2000: the Model One table radio. NetWorks’ original cherry, walnut and Wenge finishes, introduced at the product debut a year ago, remain in the line.
