Pakedge announced that routers are now available with customized firmware to speed up network configurations and lower labor costs, as part of a first-of-its-kind program. It allows integrators the chance to add “tried and true” configurations directly into router firmware. 

Nine manufacturers rep firms and three distributors in California will host the 2014 CI Expo in Oakland next month. The event is set for Nov. 5 at the Oakland Airport Hotel in Oakland. 

Pakedge Device & Software said this week that its new 4 port RE-1 router will debut at CEDIA Expo next month. The router, Pakedge said, was designed with A/V networks in mind.

Pakedge announced that it is now offering Will Call service at its headquarters in Hayward, Calif. Dealers are invited to stop by to pick up orders during hours, which are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific time. 

Pakedge Device & Software is planning to visit 31 cities this summer and fall to demonstrate its latest products, including the BakPak Cloud Management System, the C36 WAP Controller and RE-1 router.
