Texas-based CE and home theater retailer Modia dramatically increased weekend store traffic with a unique promotion last week. The company offered $1,000 in groceries to customers purchasing Mitsubishi HDTVs.
The upscale home theater chain Modia announced at CES Monday that it will open four additional stores in the Houston and Dallas areas, bringing the number of locations in the chain from eight to 12. All of Modia’s locations are in Texas and Arizona. “The new sites are all in upscale retail shopping districts that compliment the MODIA business model.” CEO Mihir Mody said in the company’s statement.
