The new-look THIEL Audio announced Wednesday that former Lenbrook CEO Bob Brown has joined the company's board of directors and will serve as interim COO. Brown is also a former COO of Tivoli Audio and also worked at ZVOX Audio.

RockridgeSound Technology Co. has announced that Bob Brown has been appointed the company's management consultant. Brown is a 30-year industry veteran who has held management positions with NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers and Tivoli Audio, and he most recently has been general manager of HED South.

The British cable brand QED and its distributor, Lenbrook America, earlier this month cemented its entry into the U.S. by introducing the first of its planned 50 Charter Dealers. The first, Chicago’s Saturday Audio Exchange, was named at the CEDIA Expo in Denver in early September. At CEDIA, Saturday Audio Exchange owner Andy Zimmerman was presented with a plaque from Lenbrook President Bob Brown and QED founder Bob Abraham.

Bob Brown: Lenbrook had a decision to make about new distribution for the NAD and PSB lines in the U.K. We researched and decided upon Armour Home Electronics. Lenbrook America, which specializes in the sales, marketing and distribution of A/V, custom installation and home integration products, said it will become the exclusive U.S. distributor of QED Audio Products’ QED cables. Lenbrook established a new division, QED America, to perform the task.
