Metra Home Theater Group used the forum of CEDIA Expo to introduce its VELOX line of UHD Cables that will support the new generation of HD, Ultra HD and 4K video applications of up to 10 meters. The made-in-USA cables incorporate In-Visions Technology’s patent-pending Targa 1 Module, to deliver a verified 18 Gb/s HD signal for better image resolutions, frame rates and colors over HD digital interconnects.

Meridian this week announced that it has named Ken Forsythe to the newly created position of vice president. Forsythe will head Meridian’s US custom and retail sales operations.

Tributaries said this week that it will exhibit its Series 2 and 4 Interconnect cables, using technology from the Clarus Series, at CEDIA Expo next month.

Inada USA this week announced the arrival of its new Flex 3s massage chair. The chair, billed as "he only massage chair in the world to combine therapeutic stretching with traditional Japanese massage,"  is now available from authorized Inada dealers and online at  InadaUSA.com.

LG Electronics said Thursday that its new 79-inch class Ultra HD TV is now available at retail. Southern California's Video and Audio Center is the first retailer to sell the new product.
