The HEOS by Denon wireless multiroom sound line, introduced last year, will include at the beginning of June a new entry-level model: the small-footprint HEOS 1 ($199) portable speaker.  It debuts along with the HEOS 1 Go Pack ($99), a battery pack that locks onto the speaker at its base and acts as a mini stand as well as a power source. Both introductions expand the HEOS system’s utility to outdoor/anywhere use.

WeBoost, formerly known as Wilson Electronics, has announced three senior sales hires for the Consumer Solutions unit.

ADI announced Monday that Michael Flink has been named president of ADI Global. Flink will lead all ADI business in the Americas, India, the middle East and Europe, and will report to Honeywell Security Group President Ron Rothman.

Control4 has announced the recipients of its annual  Control4 Dealer Awards for 2014. Magnolia Design Center (Woodlands, TX) has been named Top Retail Dealer, with Hometech El Hogar named Distributor of the Year.

AudioXperts Friday announced the appointment of Hank Finke to the position of director of sales for the Americas. Finke is formerly of Harman Specialty Group, KEF and Nuage Nine.
