Women in CE Breakfast Drew Sell Out Crowd
Women in Consumer Electronics said this week that its breakfast at CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis was a sold out event for the third time in the three years since the organization was established.
“I’d like to thank our sponsors for helping make this important event possible. For professional women in the CE industry, our breakfast reception is a fun and valuable opportunity to learn from the insight of women such as Debra and Tricia who have led amazing CE careers,” Women in CE founder and CustomRetailer Publisher Carol Campbell said in a statement. “The event is also a time to recognize the contributions of our members, and this year I had the honor of presenting the Volunteer of the Year Award to Jayme and Kim for their extraordinary efforts.”
The event featured a keynote address from Debra Boelkes of Business Women Rising, as well as an address by Best Buy's Tricia Nystrom and the presentation of Women in CE's Volunteer of the Year award to Jayme Schwartz and Kimberly Fabiano Fassetta of Social4Media.
Monster, SiriusXM, Magnolia, Wolf@Best Buy, Stewart Filmscreen, CEDIA, CTPG, Home Entertainment Source, Certified Cyber Solutions, and InGear PR were the event's sponsors. See the related article for our full coverage of the event.
