Vutec opened a new training center at its Pompano Beach, Fla., headquarters to accommodate its network of 2,000 consumer and commercial dealers in 67 countries.
“Vutec will launch a comprehensive training program in the company’s new facility for dealers, distributors and systems integrators starting with a series of two-day workshops,” said Kevin R. Baisley, Vutec’s vice president of sales and marketing.
The workshops will be offered to Vutec dealers and distributors on September 7-8, September 28-29, October 12-13, October 26-27, November 2-3, December 7-8, 2006 and January 25-26, 2007. Interested parties should contact Spencer Mallinson or Melba Procter at (800) 770-4700.
“Attendees will gain a solid grounding in Vutec’s product lines—their design, manufacture and installation—from the on-site training,” said Spencer Mallinson, Vutec’s technical director. “They’ll see how Vutec manufactures the 65 screen products and A/V accessories that comprise its Vutec and Vision X lines, and be given instruction on the design and engineering of our fabrics, projection screens and masking systems to help their clients select the most appropriate products for their viewing needs.”
