VIZIO expands roll-out of new D-Series Collection
VIZIO has announced the expanded roll-out of its latest D-Series collection. The collection provides value-conscious consumers access to a range of step-up features like Smart TV and 4K Ultra HD on select models.
The VIZIO D-Series collection aims to give consumers top picture quality via Full-Array LED backlighting technology on most models. This allows for advanced control of LEDs that deliver better uniformity and picture performance than conventional edge-lit LED backlit TVs.
Up to 16 Active LED Zones dynamically adjust to match the light and dark portions of on-screen content to produce deeper black levels and enhanced contrast.
Select models between 24” to 70” class screen sizes in the D-Series collection are equipped with VIZIO’s latest generation Smart TV platform, VIZIO Internet Apps Plus. The Smart TV includes built-in Wi-Fi and access to apps such as Netflix, XUMO, VUDU, iHeartRadio, Hulu, Spotify, YouTube and more.
Select large-size models from 40” to 65” class screen sizes in the D-Series line-up deliver 4K Ultra HD resolution with over 8.3 million pixels and four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD. The D-Series Ultra HD Smart TVs provide access to Ultra HD apps and a growing range of Ultra HD shows and movies.
The D-Series Ultra HD TV models are equipped with 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi and VIZIO’s V6 six-core processor. The models use VIZIO’s Spatial Scaling Engine for Full HD or lower resolution content to enhance 720p or 1080p HD content to an Ultra HD resolution image.
The new D-Series collection is available online now through VIZIO.com and will be available nationwide via Walmart, Best Buy, Sam’s Club, Target, BJs Wholesale Club and Amazon.
MSRP pricing for the collection starts at $139.99 for the D-Series 24” Edge-Lit LED TV (D24hn-D1) and continues to $1,199.99 for the 70” Full-Array LED Smart TV.
