Video Surveillance Platform, Smartvue, now bigger than YouTube
Smartvue Corporation announced that it has set a new daily video upload record, surpassing YouTube. Smartvue is an IoT and cloud video surveillance platform.
Smartvue customers, including Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications, are uploading over 28 million minutes of video surveillance daily from tens of thousands of devices connected to the IoT platform.
"The Smartvue cloud platform is transforming how cable, telco, security, storage, entertainment, IoT, and Internet service providers create new value for their customers and new revenue for themselves," Martin Renkis, Founder and CEO of Smartvue Corporation, said in a statement.
Smartvue offers customized video surveillance services that can be integrated with or embedded into existing products to help service businesses and hardware manufacturers create new recurring revenue. The service is available for residential and commercial customers in 140 countries.
Since the launch of its IoT platform, customers have driven cloud video surveillance at a rate of over 10 billion minutes of video annually from devices connected to the network.
