Audio products manufacturer TruAudio announced on Thursday the launch of a new digital amplifier, the A75. Being a digital amp, TruAudio explained, allows the device to run at a cooler temperature, eliminating heat buildup in racks.
It features 75 watts of power for each of its 12 channels in stereo mode, and it jumps up to 150 watts when changed to bridge mode. And the ground lift switch design solves any ground loop issues installers may run into, TruAudio said.
“We have designed the A75 to deliver the best sound quality and be the most reliable amplifier on the market today,” Ryan Kogan, TruAudio director of product development, said in a statement.
“This is the most technologically advanced amp we’ve engineered so far,” Kary Wawrzyniak, TruAudio executive vice president of operations, said in the statement. “We packed all this power in a sleek 2U chassis while still delivering amazing TruAudio performance.”
The A75 will begin shipping sometime this month.
