Triad Speakers will be the exclusive distributor for Amina Technologies in the Americas
Custom residential channel loudspeaker brand Triad Speakers, Inc., announced on Wednesday that, starting October 1, 2015, it will become the exclusive distributor of Amina Technologies products throughout the Americas. Triad will have the full Amina lineup on display at the CEDIA Expo in Dallas in October (booth #4714).
Triad, founded in 1982, is an international provider of loudspeaker products for multi-room residential and home theater system applications. Their products include front-channel, subwoofers, surround sound, and distributed audio speakers, with designs ranging from in-ceiling to on-wall, and freestanding. In Amina, Triad brings on a U.K.-based plaster-over-distributed mode loudspeaker company.
This isn’t the first time the two companies have partnered up, though. In 2008, Triad began making a line of invisible loudspeakers that were developed and manufactured by Amina, and in 2010, the companies extended the relationship with Triad marketing those Amina-made loudspeakers to a limited number of territories outside the U.S.
This new step in the relationship will bring Amina’s entire line into the U.S. and throughout the rest of the Americas.
Amina “have been a remarkably supportive supplier of our Designer Series products,” Triad Founder and CEO Larry Pexton said in a statement. “The relationship has been so good that we have made a long-term commitment to their full product line. Working together, Triad and Amina are developing important additions and improvements to the Amina products, and developing complementary subwoofers and subwoofer amplifiers for use alongside Amina panels. I am convinced the Amina panels are the best sounding products of their type on the market by a comfortable margin. I am planning to install them in my own living room.”
