Toshiba Eyes Commercial Display Market
Toshiba Digital Products Division announced that it will focus this year on the commercial display market in the U.S. The company's product roadmap will therefore include commercial and professional-grade large format displays, touchscreen displays, video wall displays and servers and more.
The move follows the company's exit from the North American TV business. The new products will shown at InfoComm, at Booth #3721.
They will start with the TD Series, which will include the TD-E EasySeries, the touchscreen-oriented EasySeries Touch, the ProSeries, the ProSeries Touch, the Pro+ Series. Also on the way are the UltraSeries, the UltraSeries Touch, the MontageSeries and the MontageSeries Touch.
“Toshiba is now focusing on the development of B2B digital displays and we are committed to creating high quality products that meet the varied needs of this developing market,” Scott Ramirez, vice president of product marketing and development, Toshiba America Information Systems, Digital Products Division, said in a statement.
Toshiba will also create Video Wall Servers and the Conext Control System.
“For 2015, it is Toshiba’s goal to launch a wide range of digital display solutions that will help Integrators create quality projects for a variety of key verticals.”
