Toshiba America Realigns Consumer Marketing
Toshiba America Consumer Products announced Wednesday that it is realigning its TV Marketing and Digital Audio/Video Marketing divisions into a single marketing department.
In addition, the company announced the promotions of two executives. Scott Ramirez has been named vice president of marketing for all Toshiba America consumer products. In his new role, Ramirez will oversee marketing and product planning for all consumer products, including LCD and LED TVs, TV/DVD Combination units, and DVD and Blu-ray Disc Players.
In addition, Maria Repole has been named vice president of communications. She will oversee retail training activities, in addition to her current responsibilites with public relations, publicity, advertising, e-commerce and Web initiatives.
Both Ramirez and Repole are 11-year veterans of the company.
