This Column is All About Us, and That Includes You
I’m just about ready for spring, so I’m mighty glad it’s upon us. The days are getting warmer and longer, and the walks around town are getting more pleasant. Pitchers, catchers, position players and Baseball Annies have reported to Florida and Arizona. The sweet, annual smell of rebirth is in the air.
I admit it, I’m always majorly crushing on Mother Nature this time of year, and it puts me in a mood to take stock of things. So this month, in that spirit, I’ll put aside my usual ruminations on the industry and instead tell you about all of the fresh things we’re up to over here at CustomRetailer HQ. We’re pretty excited about them, and it’s my mission to make sure you’re excited about them too!
Our new digital edition, which basically takes the magazine you’re holding and turns it into a live, online, interactive resource, is pretty slick stuff. Our publisher, Carol Campbell, explains our digital edition in much more detail in her column on page 6.
Our CustomRetailer E-Weekly newsletter is currently turning up in thousands of your inboxes. Thanks for your interest! CR E-Weekly goes out every Monday, and I hope you find it a great way to start your week, armed with the latest headlines that impact our vibrant corner of the industry.
If you’re not signed up for the newsletter, it’s easy to do so and, of course, it’s free. Just go to www.customretailer.net and click on “CustomRetailer E-Weekly” at the top of the page.
Speaking of www.customretailer.net, if you haven’t been there lately, check it out! We relaunched the site last fall, and, as with any worthwhile web site, it will forever be a work in progress. The cool thing about web sites is that, unlike print, we have no space constraints in play, so we can continue to build and expand on its content and functionality on a continual basis.
