TCL has teamed with in-home tech services provider Puls Technologies to help buyers of its TVs install and set them up properly. Through the partnership, TCL and Puls will offer exclusive discounts to TV owners who seek professional hardware mounting solutions.
Puls technicians, said TCL, are part of a nationwide network of over 5,000 technicians who repair and install electronics and appliances. According to the announcement, they must meet screening criteria before they become part of the network. TCL TV buyers can book these technicians through Puls’ online system, which also allows for same-day appointments. According to the TCL announcement, Puls technicians can mount any size TV, on any wall type, provide a bracket if needed, and install an entire home theater, if need be, as well as concealing wires, configuring supporting devices, connecting video, audio and Wi-Fi, setting up the smart TV, and handling sound bar mounting. Payment is only accepted when the job is complete, and the service is backed by a 90-day guarantee, says TCL.
“Partnering with a service like Puls allows us to go that extra mile for our users, allowing them the peace of mind that their television will look great in their living room and work seamlessly with existing devices,” said Chris Larson, senior vice resident, TCL, who also noted that this solution is ideally timed for sets bought during the holidays and for upcoming major sporting events.
"Buying a new TV is always exciting, but getting it up on the wall can be a pain point for many homeowners. We look forward to taking care of the heavy lifting for TCL customers so they can skip the stress and start enjoying their new TVs right away," said Itai Hirsch, CEO, Puls.
