SVS hires Keenan Davis as new senior director of marketing
Speaker manufacturer SVS has hired Keenan Davis to serve as the organization’s new Senior Director of Marketing. Davis joins SVS with 20 years of experience in the consumer electronics and video gaming industries and brings a “deep and critical understanding” of digital marketing to the SVS team, the company said in a statement.
Most recently, Davis led the digital marketing efforts for the video gaming handset brand Turtle Beach, but has also served as deputy director/head of eCommerce, digital marketing, and operations for The New York Times, where he doubled the eCommerce business in just over three years for the Times’ online store.
“Keenan possesses a rare depth of digital marketing expertise, and just as important, he understands what SVS is doing from a deeper, philosophical level,” Gary Yacoubian, president, SVS, said in a statement. “We’ve experienced unprecedented growth the last few years, but we’re just getting started. Keenan brings creativity as well as tactical, and analytical skills that will have an immediate and long-term impact on growing SVS and the high performance audio category in general.”
SVS announced a second hire—John Stanko is the company’s new digital marketing manager, a newly-created role that will have Stanko be responsible for providing in-depth analysis f social, SEO, and other marketing metrics. He will work directly with Davis on the overall strategy for SVS.
