SupplyStream Gets New Talent from Industry Veterans
SupplyStream, a web-based platform that aggregates industry products and suppliers into a single website for dealers, has announced the addition of several team members, including industry veteran Barrie McCorkle as VP Strategic Partnerships. McCorkle joins SupplyStream with over 25 years of experience in the custom install channel.
In his new roll, McCorkle will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic programs for suppliers, independent reps and industry partners.
Prior to his last post as Director of Sales & Training at Inada, USA, McCorkle was the Director of Membership for Specialty Electronics Nationwide (now HTSN). The bulk of his career was spent as co-founder and Vice President at Design Audio/Video, a Colorado based hybrid A/V dealer.
McCorkle is an active CEDIA volunteer, currently serving with the Membership Committee. He co-authored the Registered Outreach Instructor (ROI) Train-the-Trainer program. He also actively writes content for trade publications.
“I’m extremely excited to join the SupplyStream team,” McCorkle said in a statement.
“Dealers need this type of business solution and there’s nothing else in the industry that even comes close. As a former dealer I recognized instantly how much time this would save dealers and I jumped at the chance to join the team.”
In addition to McCorkle, Ryan Thomson, a former Integrator, SupplyStream user, and active CEDIA volunteer, and Erin Miller, a former Account Manager and Trainer at INADA, USA, will join SupplyStream’s growing Dealer Happiness Team.
“We built SupplyStream for dealers,” Josh Willits, VP Dealer Happiness, said in a statement.
“As such, keeping our dealers happy is critical to the continued success and growth of our company. Erin and Ryan bring strong industry experience to our team; but more importantly, they bring a passion for helping dealers.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Barrie, Ryan, and Erin to our growing team. It’s been important for us to attract world class people,” Kirk Chisholm, founder and CEO of SupplyStream, stated.
“Our team continues to be made up of almost all former dealers, and we feel that is important to best understand the needs of our customers.”
