What are your top five brands and/or product categories, and why are they more accessible to dealers/integrators through distribution?

The top five product categories at ADI are Video Surveillance, Intrusion, AV, Access Control and IP Networking. ADI represents more than 500 industry-leading brands. We make it easy for dealers to access all the products they need with our 100 fully stocked branch locations.
Beyond product, there are many more ways that distributors help dealers. We help manage their cash flow with our flexible credit options; and our strong inventory levels allow them to utilize ADI as their warehouse and reduce their own inventory. Our knowledgeable sales staff helps with presales efforts; and our Systems Sales & Support team assists with product selection and system design. Our project registration program helps dealers secure the best pricing and competitively bid on larger installations. We are also proud to offer more than 1,500 educational opportunities per year to keep dealers updated on the latest technologies.

AVAD recently surpassed 100 brands on our line card. With that much product versatility for integrators to choose from, we have noticed patterns among some of the fastest-growing product categories.
Whole home automation solutions have continued to evolve tremendously. High-end audio and video are also key areas, as big-box retail stores do not carry anywhere near our selection or quality of offerings. Additionally, AVAD remains the most accessible distributor to integrators because we have the capability to put an entire solution together—from hardware to software, content, system design services and the expertise to ensure that it all works well together.
