Stewart Filmscreen Opens Doors to Manufacturers, Dealers
Stewart Filmscreen’s Training facility in Torrance, Calif. was host to major manufacturers Tuesday as the company let manufacturers, dealers and press know about Stewart's introductions from CEDIA Expo. Approximately 60 dealers and press attended a pair of 3.5-hour sessions Tuesday.
Joaquin Rivera from Stewart Filmscreen spoke about the company's 3D/2D screens, including the Daily Dual and the new Silver 5D (2D + 3D), as well as Couture Collection frames with Swarovski Elements, LED lighting systems, and AcoustiShade masking for Director’s Choice and Cabaret screens. He also discussed the importance of dealers and designers looking outside client homes for new and innovative ways for video and audio entertainment.
Jason Markley of SpeakerCraft was on hand to talk about how to do better business in today’s market. Chris Lehnen, also from SpeakerCraft, joined in to show the the new product offerings SpeakerCraft introduced at CEDIA, including their new FloBox and FloBox Mini integrated speaker systems for iPod, iPad and iPhone.
John Schuerman and Russell Warnhoff of Panamorph sought to debunk the myths surrounding anamorphic lenses in the home and show their audience how easy it is to sell 2:35 profitably, as well as speak about wide screen and 3D. The new innovative lens options for the DC-1 Motorized System ($9995), have sealed optics, “Statement” State-of-the-Art Anamorphic Lens for the highest contrast and brightness plus the FVX 200 Plug and Play for 3K Fixed Lens for JVC, Epson, DPI and Anthem projectors.
