Stewart Filmscreen President Brashear Moves to Board
Stewart Filmscreen announced that Douglas Brashear, its president since last year, will "transition" to the company's board, in a strategic advisory role. CEO Grant Stewart will assume the president title on a temporary basis. Brashear has been with Stewart Filmscreen for 15 years.
"Douglas accomplished a great deal during his time as President," Grant Stewart said in a statement.
"I am grateful for his help strengthening the organization. He not only led the Company’s efforts to bolster R&D efforts, launched a new web site, and streamlined operations to become more nimble and customer-focused, he was instrumental in recruiting new talent for Stewart Filmscreen’s sales and marketing teams.”
Stewart Filmscreen also announced that it has appointed Peter Brown VP of sales and marketing. A veteran of Pioneer, Sonance and Hitachi, Brown joined Stewart Filmscreen in August.
“I look forward to working directly with Stewart dealers to make the company as easy and beneficial to work with as possible,” Brown said in a statement.
