Today at CEDIA 2016, taking place in Dallas from Sept. 15-17, Sound United, a company that supports and curates a diverse portfolio of audio brands, announced it will host a press conference on Sept. 15 at 4:00 p.m. CT at Arts District 1, in the Omni Hotel adjacent to the CEDIA show floor, to introduce and debut new products and provide company updates. As a way to continue investing in the custom install space, Sound United will introduce and onboard users to its new Dealer Portal, optimized for Polk Audio and Definitive Technology partners, and welcome new Director of Custom Installations, Jim Pelech. Additionally, to further support its footprint within the home theater space, Definitive Technology will publicly demonstrate its BP9080x performance audio speaker series for the first time.
“Sound United has a legacy of providing high-performance home theater products and our 2016 focus demonstrates a renewed commitment to our customers, dealers and industry partners, both old and new,” said Scott Hagen, chief sales officer of Sound United. “As the home theater category evolves, we’ll continue innovating right alongside it, without losing the essence of our heritage. This year at CEDIA, we’re thrilled to welcome Jim Pelech as our new director of custom installation and distribution and announce our new dealer portal, The Station, which we’re confident will greatly enhance the customer and dealer experience. Additionally, both Polk Audio and Definitive Technology will introduce outstanding new products as well as partnerships with industry leaders like Google.”
In keeping with the company’s ongoing focus on customers, Jim Pelech will take the helm as director of custom installation and distribution, managing Sound United’s custom installation business, focusing on architectural audio, distributors and go-to market sales strategies.
