Sonnen Announces 2019 Energy Automation Tour
Sonnen, a residential energy management brand, has announced its inaugural Energy Automation Tour. The education and training program, which will kick off in February, includes stops in 11 cities over the course of four months and will cover both sales and installation training. Each full-day event will leave attendees with “a strong understanding” of the benefits of energy automation and smart energy management, as well as sales techniques, and the basics of installation and commissioning fundamentals.
Each full-day sonnen event will be open to custom integration, solar, and electrical professionals who are looking to learn more about energy automation with ecoLinx, a tool that launched this past fall.
"We look forward to delivering a best-in-class training experience for our valued partners as we launch the energy automation category to help them grow their home automation, solar, or electrical business," Jessica Weiss, Energy Automation & AI Business Development Manager at sonnen, Inc., said in a statement.
Each full-day session will be broken up into two segments, and sonnen explained that attendees can attend one or both of the sessions. The first part of the day (from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) will focus on sales training, while the latter half (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.) focuses on technical certification training.
The EA Tour kicks off in Halifax on February 7, and will include stops in Austin (2/12), Houston (2/13), Aguadilla, PR (2/15-2/16), San Diego (2/26), Los Angeles (2/27), Salt Lake City (3/12), Plainview, NY (2/26, sales only), Calgary (3/28), Woburn, MA (4/4, modified schedule), and Montreal (5/2).
