Shaw Elected HTSA Board President
The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) announced Monday that Leon Shaw of Audio Advice has been elected president of its Board of Directors for 2015. He succeeds Joe Barrett.
It's Shaw's second time as president of the board; a board member since 2006, he was also president in 2010.
"This is an exciting day for HTSA - for our Board, Members and Vendors," Bob Hana, HTSA Managing Director, said as part of the announcement.
"Leon's dedication and decades of experience serving the residential technology community has not gone unnoticed; his enthusiasm and guidance have been an influential force since he first joined the Board of Directors. Leon has developed deep relationships with the rest of the Board, our membership and with HTSA Vendor partners, allowing him to add real value to conversations, strategies and evolving organization initiatives. We couldn't be happier to see Leon stepping into this new role."
The rest of the board will be announced later.
