Sharp, Insignia Roku TV Models Coming to Best Buy
Roku announced that Sharp has become the latest brand to sell Roku TVs. The TVs, available in 43” and 50” sizes, will be available exclusively at Best Buy.
Like previous Roku TVs from TCL and Hisense, the TVs will feature the Roku OS.
”We are pleased to offer Sharp smart TVs that run the Roku OS and provide consumers with an easy and elegant way to enjoy their entertainment,” Vishnu Rao, director of technology planning for Sharp Electronics, said in a statement.
“We believe the benefits of the Roku platform combined with the superiority of the Sharp brand makes an appealing combination for consumers looking for a great smart TV experience.”
Roku also announced that Insignia-branded Roku TVs will also arrive this month, also at Best Buy stores. The Insignia partnerships had been announced at CES in January. The TVs will be available in 32- and 55-inch sizes, retailing for $229.99 and $549.99, respectively.
