Seura said this week that it has been officially certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in the state of Wisconsin.
The certification is granted to businesses that are at least 51 percent owned, controlled and managed by women. It means the company can be "considered for contracts with corporations and government entities that seek vendor relationships with businesses owned and operated by women," Seura said.
"Our current and prospective customers now have the option to purchase elegant television and reflective products from a validated woman-owned business,” Gretchen Gilbertson, Séura CEO and co-founder, said a part of the announcement.
“We are excited about this opportunity to help our customers fulfill their supplier diversity requirements and further strengthen our partnerships through our approved certification.”
