SE2 Labs Rolls Out Dealer Show Across U.S.
SE2 Labs recently kicked off a six-city tour across the United States to meet potential dealers and demonstrate the ITC One (Integrated Theater Console) home entertainment system.
On June 5 CustomRetailer caught up with the company in Los Angeles, California , the second city in their summer-long tour.
“The dealers have to see, here and experience the ITC One for themselves to really get the value of this integrated audio, HD video, gaming, DVR functionality, A/V signal processing and control-in-a-one-box solution,” company founder and CEO Mike Pyle said. “Once they see it, they get how this can help their business in a couple of minutes.”
This pre-integrated home entertainment system contains the components that most custom integrators have to normally integrate and connect themselves. The ITC One is only sold through a select group of custom installers who will deliver and set up the system for their customers at a high rate of profit as much of the engineering and labor is removed from the equation, including the need for costly programming. Each ITC One is unique; with the installer’s help, clients can design their own personalized systems on the SE2 website. Each ITC One is then built and shipped within two weeks of the build date.
The latest news is that Apple TV has joined the list of previously standalone manufacturers that can be integrated within the ITC One. Other components include the Bryston pre-amp processor with full digital outs, Transparent Cable power conditioning, Windows Media Center, Nintendo Wii, DirecTV high-definition DVR, and a host of others.
Jeff Walker, VP of Operations, demonstrated the ITC One’s floating circuit boards on removable cards, and commented, “These boards easily pull out and they are all pre-tested and pre-built,” Walker said. “There really is no down side for the homeowner. Remote diagnostics makes it easy to trouble shoot a problem with no travel time.”
