Samsung Plans IP Training
Samsung said Wednesday that it will host a series of two-day, targeted industry training courses, on such subjects as IP video, network design and integration skills.
The Samsung IP Institute begins with a sold-out event in Brick, N.J., this month, with future dates in Feb. 28-29 (Toronto); March 20-21 (Texas); April 17-18 (Calgary); April 24-25 (China, Calif.); May 29-30 (Ridgefield Park, N.J.); and June 26-27 (Chicago.)
“IP video networks are becoming the norm in video surveillance, so it is more important than ever to provide basic and mid-level technical network design expertise to the channel,” Frank De Fina, Samsung's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said as part of the announcement.
“Educating the channel to fulfill customer needs in the changing IP video market is one of the ways we are maintaining the value and quality of the Samsung brand.”
