Sadowski Joins D&M Holdings
D&M Holdings hired Frank Sadowski for its newly created position of executive vice president of business development. Sadowski “will play a key strategic role in identifying business directions and product strategies to reach and delight the premium CE customer,” said the company.
Sadowski, who will join D&M Holdings on December 1, most recently served as vice president of global CE vendor management at Amazon.com. He joined the online mega-retailer in 2001 as vice president, U.S. consumer electronics merchandising. Previously, he served as senior vice president of merchandising and operations at 800.com, where he “was a trailblazer in the business of marketing consumer electronics online,” said D&M, and held management positions at regional CE/appliance retailers Sun Television and Appliance and Silo.
“We are pleased to have someone of Frank’s stature join D&M,” said Vic Pacor, president and chief operating officer of D&M Holdings. “As an innovator, Frank has his pulse on what CE consumers want in both domestic and international markets. We’re committed to our strategic focus of distributing products through specialty retailers and the custom installation markets, and Frank’s creativity and insights will bring us fantastic new opportunities to connect with premium CE customers and differentiate our products on a worldwide basis.”
“The team at D&M Holdings has successfully developed a great lineup of global premium brands in the CE industry,” said Sadowski. “I am joining D&M Holdings because there’s an exciting opportunity to expand D&M’s global reach and relationships with customers, vendors and distributors by leveraging my industry experiences,” he said.
