RoseWater Energy Group offers a compelling proposition to integrators: Give us access to your clients and we'll reward you
One of the most intriguing products of CEDIA 2015 isn't an audio, video or home automation product. It's a residential energy management hub from RoseWater Energy Group.
What makes it so intriguing? Well, how about this: You can earn 20 points on a five-figure install without having to do virtually any work yourself on it. RoseWater just wants you to open the door to your client, and then do the install of its hub itself. Why? As Joe Piccirilli, managing director and chief executive officer for RoseWater Energy, said, there's no tolerance for screwing this install up, unlike a typical AV or home automation install, because the homeowner's very existence might depend on it. The company is being very careful about the dealers it partners with because of the power of its product.
"This channel is about access to a clientele that is difficult to find," said Piccirilli. That's why RoseWater wants to leverage your customer relationships and reward you for it.
Basically, with the hub, the homeowner can not only enjoy backup power, but also cleaner power and the ability to integrate solar inputs. Essentially, the homeowner can go off the grid with this $60,000-$80,000 solution. "This device is built to be in the middle of nowhere and still work," said Piccirilli.
In the company's own words, "The RoseWater Hubs deliver 100% pure conditioned power with a zero transfer time UPS when switching power sources and are ready for renewables, like solar or wind power, for those customers who desire green living and energy independence. With a choice of nano-carbon or lithium iron phosphate batteries, the Hub can provide up to 28 kWh of energy to safely and securely ride out power failures or supplement the grid to manage energy costs."
