Just seen at CEDIA: PSB Speakers Unveil New Products
PSB Speakers announced a new addition to their subwoofer lineup, the SubSeries 100 ($249 MSRP). The 50W Class D amplifier is capable of 100W dynamic peak power and measures 6 3/8" wide x 6 3/8" high x 7 7/8" deep. The SubSeries 100 will be shipping in October.
Paul Barton, Founder and Chief Designer of PSB speakers said in a press release:
"Given the tremendous interest in desktop audio applications, as well as the fantastic response to our Alpha PS1, made the challenge of developing a high-performance sub for that market a top priority. PSB has always endeavored to produce maximum bass performance for a given enclosure size and in this design, our technical know-how with SubSeries 100 has produced remarkable results."
Also on display at the PSB CEDIA Booth #1624 were the four new CustomSound speakers. The two new in-wall and two in-ceiling models feature polypropylene cone woofers with rubber surround, 1" Titanium dome tweeters with Ferrofluid cooling and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts.
The W-LCR in-wall model ($799 MSRP) features two 5 1/4" Woofers and can be used as surround speakers for 5.1 and 7.1 systems.
The W-LCR 2 ($999 MSRP) in-wall model adds a 4" Midrange driver.
The C-LCR ($799) in-ceiling model provides an increase in sensitivity and bass extension for ceiling mounting.
The C-SUR ($799) features an advanced engineered enclosure.
