ProSource Makes Key Board of Directors Announcements
Shortly after day one festivities at the ProSource Spring Conference in San Antonio, Texas, the buying group has announced that Larry Abrams has been appointed to the board, and Walt Stinson will serve as Vice Chairman.
"It is an honor to be asked to serve on the ProSource board," said Abrams. "The scope of work at our company has grown exponentially over the years, and I hope to share those strategies and tactics with my fellow ProSource peers."
Abrams, Technical Director of Audio Interiors Inc., is filling the board seat vacated by Ted Bremekamp, now Director of Operations at Parasol, a 24/7 service provider founded and run by integrators. Parasol is a new established remote-management system that is no part of ProSource and offers support by OvrC. Bremekamp will spearhead the Parasol venture, leaving Abrams to take his place.
"It's important that our board reflects the totality of our membership. We are excited to welcome Larry Abrams as a leader who has expanded his business into key ProSource initiatives, including custom lighting control, motorized shades, and smart home automation," said Murray Huppin, Chairman of the Board. "We also recognize the impact that Walt Stinson has made, in terms of bringing success to the organization, and look forward to his continued contributions as Vice Chairman."
