ProSource and CI Edge announce strategic alliance
Buying groups ProSource and CI Edge have entered a strategic alliance, the groups announced in a statement on Tuesday. CI Edge—a commercial buying group for integrators under $10 million in annual revenue—provides members direct access to buying programs with top technology suppliers, and it's members are also part of an extensive network of integrators across the U.S. Who collaborate to “elevate their organizations to the next level.”
“This alliance provides ProSource members who are focused on the commercial market with buying programs, education and best practices to support their commercial integration efforts,” Andy Orozco, director of business development for ProSource, said in a statement. “This alliance makes ProSource the only buying group in the industry that can serve both commercial and residential markets.”
Educational sessions for members began in early October, and CI Edge will have a presence at the ProSource Summit in Orland in March and the ProSource Spring Meeting in May 2016 as part of the strategic alliance, ProSource said.
“CI Edge is structured to address the specific needs of an underserved segment of the commercial integration market: small to mid-sized integrators. Our objective is to provide them an edge in technology integration,” said CI Edge Principal Chris Whitley. “We are very excited about our alliance with an outstanding organization like ProSource and we look forward to working with them to bring CI Edge benefits to their members.”
