Petra's Annual Golf Tournament Raised $70,000
Petra Industries said Friday that it raised $70,000 at its 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which supported Whiz Kids and Mercy Ministries of America.
More than 150 Petra vendors and partners participated in the event, which began Wednesday, and also consisted of a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament and a concluding luncheon.
The two charities were each presented with checks for $35,000.
“Each year we ask our business partners to donate their time and money to these charities and each year they go above and beyond the call and it is because of their support that this tournament is such a success,” Bill Stewart, CEO and Founder of Petra Industries, said as part of the announcement.
“Both of these organizations do incredible work and we at Petra are always overjoyed that we can do a little bit to help them continue with their missions.”
