Attendees at the Music Matters event, which kicks off October 1 at The Sound Room in Chesterfield, Missouri, will be the first North American citizens to get a glimpse at Paradigm Electronics, Inc.’s Concept 4F loudspeakers.
Paradigm, an international speaker design and manufacturing company, debuted the new concept speakers at the 2015 Munich High End show in May and also demonstrated them at the 2015 Hong Kong High-End Audio-Visual Show in August. The Concept 4F speakers are the work of engineering teams at Paradigm and Anthem, who’ve been working on the product for more than five years, Paradigm said in a statement.
The Concept 4F features TruExtent Beryllium 1” tweeters, 7” midrange drivers, and four Ultra-High-Excursion Differential Drive 8.5” woofers in a vibration-cancelling configuration, Paradigm explained.
Paradigm got more in-depth on the technology packed inside the speakers:
Each woofer pair is powered by a separate DSP-controlled 700 W RMS amplifier for a total of 1400 W RMS (2,800 W Dynamic Peak), and combined with exclusive technology like Anthem Room Correction (ARC) capability. And then some. The result is a unique sonic platform that reinvents luxury performance in a loudspeaker and ushers in an audacious new era for Paradigm.
Because the Concept 4F is a concept product, there is no pricing or release date available, Paradigm said.
