On-Q/Legrand, Eyeing MDU Space, Expands Sales Force
Home systems manufacturer On-Q/Legrand plans to expand its sales force, starting with the addition of “new leadership in business development and sales.” The company said the changes will enable it “to continue its growth in the builder market and low-voltage channels as well as expand into new markets such as multi-dwelling (MDU) and light commercial.”
As part of this initiative, the vendor shook up its key management. Founder Jim Devin, who was vice president of sales, becomes vice president of business development. Bob Fallert, who was director of sales, eastern U.S./international, becomes vice president of sales, low voltage channel. On-Q/Legrand created a third new position, vice president, builder market development, that is currently recruiting to fill.
“On-Q/Legrand continuously looks at best practices to align with the market and our customers’ needs,” said On-Q/Legrand President Doug Fikse. “In light of On-Q’s tremendous growth, the company has the ability to dedicate senior level expertise to expand our organization and provide increased focus and better results for our customers.”
The company added that “per this announcement, [On-Q parent] Legrand North America looks to On-Q/Legrand as the lead organization to serve low-voltage distributors, residential builders and MDU/light commercial customers by leveraging On-Q home systems and Legrand North American products.
“We are excited to lead the charge in home systems by coupling On-Q and Legrand North America lifestyle solutions,” said Fikse. “Jim Devin and Bob Fallert are proven leaders with the experience to serve our customer and partner needs and position our team for success.”
On-Q/Legrand offers “integrated entertainment, communications and comfort systems for the residential home systems market.” Legrand is “one of the principal worldwide specialists for products and systems for low-voltage, electrical and data network installations.” Legrand North America is the North America regional business for Legrand.
