NuVision Appoints Director of Training
NuVision U.S., the manufacturer of Deep Black LCD and 1080p LED DLP HDTVs, appointed Bob Altenbern as its director of training. He will be responsible for NuVision product training.
“Bob’s industry background, combined with strong market knowledge and involvement in a variety of aspects of the consumer electronics market, will add considerable depth and skill to the NuVision organization,” said Paul Fredrickson, NuVision’s vice president, marketing and strategic planning.
A 20-year CE industry veteran, Altenbern most recently served as eastern regional sales manager for Adcom, where he managed outside sales reps and distributors as well as trained reps and dealers on Adcom products. Previously, he was involved in OEM business development and sales of audio processing technology and engineering services for Momentum Data Systems; spent five years at Sensory Science in a variety of roles including product marketing manager of the California Audio Labs product line as well as GoVideo dual-deck DVD/VCR and DVD audio products; and spent 10 years managing sales and buying at Havens & Hardesty/Genesis Audio in southern California.
“I am very excited to join NuVision,” said Altenbern. “In its short life, NuVision has already set a standard for excellence for both its product and its policies of catering to its customer base. The specialty and CI markets have long been looking for a manufacturer that has targeted their specific needs, and NuVision has done just that.”
