New On Controls software controls Apple TV
On Controls version 4.2 will allow IP-based two-way control of Apple TV.
The new functionality is among numerous new features and operational enhancements. A new device slider graphic interface provides "a faster, more precise method of controlling components that have discreet levels, such as a volume knob or lighting control." Users now have the ability to remove the top and bottom navigation bars on their phone or tablet and go full-screen with the On Controls interface.
On Controls' Vera module added horizontal and vertical control capability for applicable shades, blinds and drape elements. Topping it all off is a new, more intuitive graphic user interface called Se7en, said the company, access to whose template will be made available to On Controls authorized dealers on July 27.
The On Controls iOS/Android app can be updated by users at no charge.
“Our latest software delivers exciting functionality along with intuitive graphics, further differentiating the cloud-enabled On Controls solution from conventional control and automation platforms,” said On Controls CEO Itai Ben-Gal.
