New Age Electronics to distribute small kitchen appliances by Kalorik
As it looks to bring its full portfolio of small kitchen appliances to the U.S. retail channel, Kalorik has decided to go with New Age Electronics as its primary distributor. New Age is a leading distributor of consumer electronics and gaming products and services and is a division of the SYNNEX Corporation.
The agreement to distribute includes Kalorik’s food preparation products, food processors, juicers, kitchen scales, mixers, slow cookers, toasters, water kettles, smokers (below right), and other kitchen gadgets, as well as its “Emeril by Kalorik” kitchen electronics line, which the company launched last year in conjunction with world-renowned Chef Emeril Lagasse. The Emeril line includes a combination of unique and innovative kitchen products like the Airfryer (below left), 2-in-1 Egg Cooker and Steamer, MultiCooker, and 3-in-1 Grill and Griddle.
“Our agreement with Kalorik gives retailers new options in small appliances and allows them to meet the needs of the growing number of consumers looking to buy high-quality products for the home,” said Fred Towns, President of New Age Electronics, said in a statement. “With Kalorik's worldwide brand recognition, retailers can rest assured they are offering some of the most sophisticated small home appliance products to help consumers make their homes more personalized, stylish and efficient.”
Kalorik, which has international offices in the U.K., Germany, Switzerland, and China, has a well-established reputation in the kitchen appliances market around the world. Their goal with their New Age Electronics partnership is to bring that brand and those products into a new market in the U.S.
“New Age Electronics has a proven track record of success in the US retail channel and collaborating with them is an important step in expanding our reach and brand recognition in the US,” Uri Murad, CEO of Kalorik said in the statement. “We will be able to reach more consumers by combining our industry-leading products with New Age Electronics' expansive network of retailers, strong customer relationships, and ability to execute go-to-market strategies.”
In addition to their agreement with New Age Electronics in the U.S., Kalorik will also be made available to Japanese retailers through SYNNEZ Infotec in Japan.
