NetStreams Names President and CEO
IP-based networked entertainment vendor NetStreams named its founder, Herman Cárdenas, its chairman of the board, and appointed Kevin Reinis as president and CEO. Reinis, a 20-year IT industry veteran, will be responsible for NetStreams’ global operations, including sales, marketing, finance, engineering and business development. Cárdenas will “continue to lead the company’s product and technology strategies, promote the benefits of IP-based networked entertainment, and develop strategic relationships,” said the company.
Reinis, the former CEO of Yosemite Technologies, has also served as vice president of business development and strategic alliances at Veritas Software, and general manager and vice president of Dell PowerVault Storage for the Dell Enterprise Systems Group. He also spent 14 years at IBM in a variety of senior leadership posts.
