NetStreams Names New Marcom Director
IP-based entertrainment systems manufacturer NetStreams named Ruth Davidson its director of marketing communications. She is responsible for all aspects of marketing communications, public relations and events for the company, and will work to “refine and expand the reach of the company’s marketing message.”
“Working for startups, mid-size and large corporations, Ruth has a successful track record of business-to-business and consumer marketing communications experience and will be a great addition to our marketing team,” said Petro Shimonishi, vice president of marketing and product planning for NetStreams. “Ruth has a very diverse background and brings a fresh view of strategies and tactics to the table. This will help NetStreams push the envelope as to how we communicate our message and continue to grow our business.” Davidson will report to Shimonishi.
Davidson’s background, said NetStreams, is in marketing to direct and indirect channels, corporate communications, branding, and advertising. She has served with IBM Rational and numerous privately-held, Austin, Texas-based high-tech startups.
