MQA (Master Quality Authenticated), the music technology created by Bob Stuart, announced that it will be participating in CEDIA’s on-site educational program during the 2015 CEDIA Expo in Dallas later this month. MQA’s session, created specifically for show attendees, will be held on Friday, October16 from 3-4:30 p.m. CST.
Spencer Chrislu, MQA’s director of content services, will deliver the session titled “MQA: Rethinking True High Resolution.” The course is designed to provide installers with an overview of the new technology by discussing how MQA enhances a customer’s listening experience in-home and on-the-go. Those in attendance will get the chance to experience MQA first-hand through demonstrations that will be available during the presention.
Further, attendees will receive 1.5 Continuing Education Units for attending the 90-minute session.
Rocky Mountain Audio Fest
Before it arrives in Dallas, though, MQA is stopping at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest at the Denver Tech Center Marriot. MQA announced that Mytek Digital and AudioQuest recently became partner companies who will support the technology, and RMAF will be the site of the world premier of Mytek’s latest product, The Brooklyn USB2 DAC preamplifier and headphone amp, which has MQA integration.
Additionally, MQA announced that Bob Stuart would be participating in two seminar events: “Streaming Audio: Preserving the Past, Protecting the Future” with Pal Bratelund, from TIDAL on Oct. 2nd at 4:45 pm and “Legends of High-End Audio” on Oct. 3 at 2:30pm.
