McIntosh Drops Some Rep Firms
McIntosh last week became the latest company in the industry to alter its sales organizational structure.
The company has gone to a "hybrid" sales structure under which the McIntosh "will serve our retailers with direct-sales Regional Managers and a reduced number of existing representation firms," the company said in an email to the press.
Sales directors Marc Lamb and Chris Smith will assume direct account responsibilities while managing regional managers and rep firms.
"Our goal is to solidify our position in the market as we reach out to new customers and continue to define McIntosh as leader in product quality and customer service," the company said.
