Marilyn Sanford to Debut LincEdge
Industry veteran and CEDIA fellow Marilyn Sanford is preparing to launch a new service to the CEDIA Channel called LincEdge.
LincEdge, described as a "startup working on concept validation," will launch its website and first products in early 2015, and a "soft launch" will take place at CEDIA Expo next month, in order to reach out to small trade firms to participate in development, beta testing and eventually launch.
"For years I have watched consumers decide to work with smaller firms, because they feel they have a more direct connection," Sanford, a 22-year industry veteran, said in a statement. "LincEdge provides these smaller operations back end systems and online productivity solutions that help smaller concerns operate big.”
“LincEdge is a new concept. Guys leave their employment with grand ideas and expectations of more earnings and autonomy. I have watched as they launch into the industry. Skilled technicians often find the realities of operating a business burdensome. LincEdge intends to provide services to this segment that will help them run their businesses well with far less effort, enabling them to focus on what they do well.”
Sanford is former president of Vancouver integration firms La Scala and Connected Spaces.
LincEdge will appear at CEDIA Expo on "Rookie Row," at Booth #RR5.
