IP networking products manufacturer Luxul announced that it will introduce its newest 802.11ac wireless access point at CEDIA Expo next month in Dallas. The XAP-1510 will combine high output power and 802.11ac 3x3 Dual-Band Beamforming technology to deliver data rates of up to 1900Mbps.
"The XAP-1510 is a key addition to the Luxul wireless networking family and further demonstrates our focus on cost-effectively delivering the very best IP networking products to the CEDIA channel," Jeffrey Curtis, CEO of Luxul, said in a statement. "With high performance 3x3 802.11ac technology, it represents a significant performance boost that will help our installers meet their client's ever increasing bandwidth demands."
The XAP-1510 can be used as a standalone wireless access point, Luxul explained, or it can be combined with the company’s XWC-1000 Wireless Controller that enables “seamless client roaming and simple multi-AP wireless network setup.”
The XAP-1510, which will be on display at Luxul’s booth (#4625) at CEDIA Expo, will start shipping to Luxul distributors in October.
