Lutron's CEDIA EXPO 2013 Message Is Clear: Strength Through Leadership
Hightlighting their 52 year history, the Lutron team spoke to a packed press room about how the company continues to lead in the lighting, shade and LED control categories.
They announced the expansion of the automated window treatment family of products to include both Sivoia QS Triathlon and Serena battery-powered roller shades. This move gives homeowners more styles and pricing options within the battery-powered shade family, and also provides dealers with new major business growth opportunities. Said Edward Blair, VP and general Manager, " We also are announcing 1,500 fabric materials for designers and home owners to chose from in the Coulisse Collection. This gives the integrator unprecented options to provide a hi-fashion, hi-style space for their clients."
Also announced were three new features for ithe company's HomeWorks QS total home control system. An RF SoftSwitch Module, 120V DIN Rail Power Module with EcoSystem and Daylight Control Package. Said Rich Black, Director, Residential Product Management and Business Development, "These new features significantly enhance the energy-saving features of a HomeWorks QS system. It's important to provide homeowners with a system that allows them to take advantage of the newest energy-saving strategies like LED control and ambient light detection."
For RadioRA 2 wireless total home control system there were also three new features.. RF SoftSwitch module, Daylight Control Package and Wallbox Power Module. Also announced were several new products and solutions to help homeowners smoothly transition their homes from incandescent to LED bulbs.
