Lutron Comes to the Empire State Building
Lutron Electronics announced this week that it has been selected by the owner of New York's Empire State Building to provide lighting control to some of the building's tenant spaces.
The deal is part of a building-wide retrofit meant to reduce the iconic building's energy use.
“Lutron is proud to be an integral contributor to the sustainable nature of the ESB and to collaborate with them on creating a space that is highly rentable, attracts and retains high-quality tenants and reduces operating costs over the life of the installation,” Michael Pessina, President of Lutron, said in a statement. “The solution we’ve created together can be easily repeated in any whole-building retrofit.”
