LG Wins Value Electronics Shootout at CE Week
LG’s Art Slim CURVED OLED 4K TV was declared the winner of the the 11th Annual Value Electronics TV Shootout this week. The event, for the first time, was held as part of CE Week in New York.
LG took the award from both general attendees and the judging panel. It competed against Samsung’s UN78JS9500, Sony’s XBR-75X940C, Panasonic’s TC-65CX850U, over the course of CE Week’s two exhibition days.
“LG OLED TV sets a new standard for picture quality and delivers an incredible TV experience unlike any LCD LED TV available,” Tim Alessi, director of new product development for home entertainment at LG Electronics USA, said in a statement after the winner was announced.
“For years LG has been at the forefront of innovations that demand recognition from picture quality authorities and consumers alike, and industry recognition like this further validates our efforts, especially with OLED 4K TVs.”
The Value Electronics TV Shootout has traditionally been held at Value Electronics in Scarsdale, N.Y.
